An 18 wheeler in Seguin, Texas was attempting to pass a P.T. Cruiser this morning, when it clipped the passenger vehicle causing the P.T. Cruiser to lose control and crash head-on into a school bus. The bus was then rear-ended by a Ford Focus and the school bus, 18 wheeler and the two passenger vehicles burst into flames.
The accident happened this morning at 6:30 a.m. while the bus was in route to school with nine middle and high school students on board. The driver of the 18-wheeler was airlifted to University Hospital in critical condition, but authorities said he's expected to survive. The remaining 12 people involved in the crash were rushed to Guadalupe Regional Medical Center in Seguin.*
